This unit covered the following learning aims:
• understand the uses of and tools/techniques used in databases
in this aspect you have to be able know the way around your database and the tools you will learn how to use.
• design a relational database
this way you learn how to design your database and the information you will need to put in the right places.
• develop and test a relational database
in this way you will continue to further your design to the max and test it out, testing it means acting like an individual who is trying to work his/her way around the database.
• review the finished relational database.
now this is the final aspect where you go through everything and note down the different parts of the database which may need adjustments or improvements.
