This section of my digital portfolio covered the following learning aims which are listed below:
• understand the uses of spreadsheets and the functions and features which are available in the various spreadsheet software packages
• design a spreadsheet
• develop and test a spreadsheet
• review and be able to go through the finished spreadsheet.
This unit was interesting to me as it allowed me to develop my knowledge of spreadsheets. I already knew
a little about them, but this showed me just how powerful a spreadsheet can be when it is used properly.
Most people think spreadsheets is about mainly maths, but there is way much more to them – including good design and productivity, you should be artistic in a way.
We fully started this unit by researching spreadsheets, what they are about, the features and functions, basically the inside and outs of a spreadsheet an created a power-point based on it in assignment one.
